I chose this profession because nutrition is a powerful tool . But as much as it can give us wings , it can also become a living hell! After working all these years counseling people of all ages with every possible dietary challenge, I ca confirm that most people realize much too late evertythingthey could have done to prevent their suffering or illness.

Our society has a twisted concept of health. On the one hand we are made to feel guilty for not changing our habits, and on the other hand, we are given no confidence in our own power over our future health. But it's quite the opposite: we hold the keys to our health deep within our cells. These cells often even send us messages, but we don't listen to them!
I admit, I have always thought outside the box. From beginning of my career, with my book Adieu Régime Bonjour la Vie, I was a pioneer. I was already swimming against the tide by being the first nutritionist to write in black and white why diets are part of the problem, not the solution. At that time, in university, we were taught to make corrections on people's food journal with a red pencil! Which I never agreed to do. Each of my 6 books were written with the aim of helping people trust themselves and reclaim their health, something I myself had to learn the hard way, with a 10 year battle against a condition from which there is supposedly no cure. Well, I am living proof there is!
Had I had access at the time to the information that I can provide to my clients today, I am certain that I could have prevented the signs that I ignored from degenerating into confirmed diagnosis. I won my fight to allow others to never find themselves in the arena!
Nutrigenomics: But why?
